When a loved one passes, it is difficult to work through the unimaginable grief. Quite often recent and cherished photos were captured on a mobile phones. I often work with these images in creating heirloom paintings for my clients. Working through this process requires expertise, patience and vision. I use a special computer stylus which acts as a paintbrush, enabling me to digitally hand-render stunning paintings.
Quite often, clients would like a painting combining two beloved subjects into one cohesive, fine art piece. In this instance, two images were provided. After making modifications to both images, I then "posed" the subjects in post before setting to the actual process of painting. Again, the colors were meticulously applied in photoshop through my digitally, hand-painted technique, resulting in the final image.
This rugged cowboy was beautifully shot near a barn. By transforming this image into a painting, it becomes a showcase piece of art. I do not use filters to achieve this painterly look. This is meticulously created in Photoshop, with my computer as the canvas, and my Wacom tablet as my palette.
A striking addition to any memorial image is a collage of black and white images faded perfectly on the background of your painted image, making this a truly one of a kind keepsake. This is an additional service as the images are carefully blended together in similar tones.
Thank you so much for trusting me with your cherished images.
